  • As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us Son of David!” When he has come into the house, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes Lord,” they replied. Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it unto you.” And their eyes were opened. (Matthew 9:27-29)

  • On another day, Jesus got into a boat, his disciples followed him. And without warning there arose a great tempest in the sea, in so much that the boat was covered with waves. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and awoke him, saying, “Lord, save us; we perish.” He said unto them, “Why are you so afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the sea; and there was a great calm. (Matt 8:26)

  • When a centurion requested Jesus to say in a word and his servant shall be healed, and that he was not worthy to call Jesus into his house, Jesus said, “I have not found so great faith even in Israel.” Then, Jesus said to him, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so be it done unto you.”  And the servant was healed in the very same hour. (Matthew 8:10)

  • A Canaanite woman came to Jesus and pleaded him to heal her daughter who was suffering terribly from demon possession. He said to her, “O woman, great is your faith; be it unto you as you will.” And her daughter was made well from that very hour. (Matthew 15:28)

  • A certain man came to Jesus and said that he had brought his son, who was suffering with epileptic, to his disciples, but they could not cure him. Then Jesus replied, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to me.” He rebuked the demon, and he departed out of him. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked him why they could not drive it. Then he replied, “Because you have so little faith.” (Matthew 17:14-20)

  • Some men brought a paralytic on a bed and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. But when they could not find a way because of the crowed, they went up on the roof and lowered him with his bed through the tiles into the middle of the crowed, right in front of Jesus. And when he saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven. ……………. I tell you, get up, take your bed and go home.” Immediately he stood up before them, took his bed and went home praising God. (Luke 5:18-25) Do you know that God wants to SEE our faith some times?

  • "How is it that you have no faith?” asked Jesus. (mark 4:40)

  • “Where is your faith?” (Luke 8:25)

  • The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” And the Lord said, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this sycamore tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it should obey you.” (Luke 17:5, 6)

  • When Jesus cursed a fig tree never to bear fruit again, immediately the tree withered away. The disciples asked him as to how the fig tree withered away so quickly. Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘GO, throw yourself into the sea, and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” (Matthew 21:21, 22)

  • “Faith is substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrew 11:1)

  • Your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” ( 1 Corinth 2:5)

  • Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4)
  • “Without faith it is impossible to please God; for he that comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrew 11:6)

  • Faith is the shield of the Christian. (Ephesians  6:16)

  • Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love. (1 Corinth 16:13)

  • Finally, read the eleventh chapter of Hebrews from the New Testament and increase your faith.
