Who has woe?
Who has sorrow?
Who has contentions?
Who has complaints?
Who has wounds without cause?
Who has redness of eyes?
Those who linger long at the wine,
Those who go in search of mixed wine.
Do not look on the wine when it is red,
When it sparkles in the cup,
When it swirls around smoothly;
At the last it bites like a serpent,
And stings like a viper.
Your eyes will see strange things,
And your heart will utter perverse things.
Yes, you will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea,
Or like one who lies at the top of the mast, saying:
“They have struck me, but I was not hurt;
They have beaten me, but I did not feel it.
When shall I awake, that I may seek another drink?"
One should come home after a daylong work.
There is time left to rest from heavy hazardous work.
Animals and birds, men and women, and every living creature want to come home as the sun goes down.
Every evil, tries to rise in the absence of sun shine. Precarious!
While darkness covers over all, everything goes to rest, so is the preparation for the next. That is the time to read the day’s happenings; small and big, good and bad, and a free time to assess the day’s work.
These 366 days are about to complete the year 2012.
A sojourner assessed the whole year’s program; the number of successes and failures, the happy occasions and unhappy moments.
This is the time to go back and check, what had happened in a good mood, and what created a nuisance and ugly things in a bad mood, losing one’s temper.
Be active and live for the next wonderful things waiting; having learnt from the past, and bent to resolve for the best and not for the worst, but for Restorations.
Know that, the Past, Present and Future is true and existent and unavoidable.
Respond! Live it up! That is the truth of life.
Convert tensity into easily and take up positivity but not negativity.
Think Right, Talk Right & Do right.
Let All RIGHTS are yours throughout the New Year.
In the darkness we could only go by the twinkling stars.
Come home! There is plenty of Sunshine in this year 2013.

One plants the seed, another waters it and some other reaps the fruit of it. This is the philosophy and the system of Jesus Christ.
It may sound strange and found contrary to the logic we know, since the worldly law tells that whosoever sows the seed will aspire for the fruit.
Here we have to understand the idea of Jesus or the Christian philosophy.
Those who study the teachings of Jesus Christ may understand that they are different and contrary to the worldly philosophy. This saying- one sows and another reaps, sounds strange, but it is up to the listeners and followers to decide whether to adapt or reject it. There is no margin for a follower.
Let me take you to one of the fervent followers of the philosophy of Jesus Christ, who is none else than Saint Paul.
While writing to the people of God (Church) in Corinth, Paul said, “Who then is Paul, who is Apollos, but ministers to whom you believed, as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered but God gave the increase. So, then, neither he that plants nor he that waters is anything, but only God who makes things grow.
Now, he that plants and he that waters are one and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God, you are God’s cultivated field, you are God’s building.
According to the grace of God which is given to me as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation and another builds on it. But let everyman take heed how he builds upon it.” (1 Corinthians 3:5-10)
Verse: 21-22: “So, let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future – all are yours, and you are Christ’s and Christ is God’s.”
Note: Therefore, the cultivated field of God (Believers/Church) is important to the Owner (God), who purchased it for the kingdom of God at the cost of his blood. We are all workers in his vineyard.
It is the Master’s will that the people of God must grow into perfectness. For the perfecting of the people of God (Church), he chooses ministers (workers) to serve them. The workers are there, for the sake of God’s people. They are meant to build the house of God (the church/the people of God) very carefully, since the wages for the builders will be only after testing.
On the basis of all these factors, the servants of God cannot claim the believers of God as theirs. The Church (People of God) belongs to God and therefore, there is no place to claim or to possess them by the ministers any way. There is no place for self-glory. On the other hand, it is a great responsible job. So, nobody should opt it as a profession. You must also know that God selects people for His work. He is the master and authority, who gives wages, awards and rewards.
The Church is His Kingdom on earth: This is a different world, a different kingdom with a different administration; unlike this world. The master of these Churches (people purchased by His blood), is a master who walks in the midst of the Churches. Therefore, His servants are not free. They are observed by Him; how they are preparing them to His kingdom, what they
are teaching and how they are behaving with them and looking after them.
We can understand these things by reading the Book of Revelation where he passed remarks over every Church.
“The Church is the body of Jesus Christ to which he is the head. It means Church is to behave and work according to His will and plan.” But, Grace is given to the servants. In Ephesians 3:8, Saint Paul says – of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which is given me by the effectual working of His Power.
Be serious about the people of God (the church). The church is not ours but God’s. They are purchased by the blood of Jesus. God has arranged us as their Servants or Ministers. In that case, we are only servants but not authorities, Shepherds only but not masters.
CONCLUSION: One sows the seed, another waters and some other reaps the harvest in the field of God for Him. The yield is gathered into the go-downs of the master.
In the same manner, God is free to use someone to preach the gospel of salvation to a sinner unto repentance, and another to lead him to the baptism, and some other to bring him to the experience of the Holy Spirit, and unto the perfecting of the believer God is pleased to give five more gifted servants; some to be Apostles, some to be Prophets, some to be Evangelists, and some to be Pastors and Teachers, as we read in EPHESIANS 4:11-13, for the perfecting of the Saints.
Whoever it is, by the grace of God we are what we are. Though somebody worked harder than others- yet not he, but the grace of God that was with him. By His grace you are given a chance of serving his people. So, there is no place for pride or authority or claim over them. God’s Servants cannot say, “My church” while God himself says, “My church.” ST. Paul while writing letters to churches he addressed-To the church of God in Corinth. (1 Corinth 1:2)
Jesus said, “On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”(Matthew 16:18)
Better serve them with humility like a Good Samaritan, because, one sows and another waters and some other reaps the harvest for the kingdom of God. That is the justified logic of God.

1. The High Priest said, “…..I put under the oath by the living God; Tell us if you are the Christ, the son of God!”
Jesus said to him, “It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you hereafter you will see the son of man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven. Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “He has spoken blasphemy.” (Matthew 26:63-65)
COMPARE: He who is the high priest among his brethren, on whose head the anointing oil was poured and who is consecrated to wear the garments, shall not uncover his head nor tear his clothes. (Leviticus 21:10)
2. “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up his spirit. Then, behold the veil of the temple is torn in two from top to bottom and the earth quaked and the rocks were split….” (Matthew 27:50,51)
COMPARE: And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the Holy place and the Most Holy Place. (Exodus 26:31-34)
Need some clarification over these two things.
1. Somebody said that, when Jesus declared himself as sitting on the right hand of the mighty one as the mediator of man and God (the High priest), the high priesthood of a man has become unnecessary and so it was removed as and when the high priest tore his clothes.
2. When Jesus shed His blood and gave up his life, he did not enter the Holy places made with hands, which are only copies of the true, but he entered into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us. So, the veil in the temple of Jerusalem has become unnecessary and hence it was torn in two from top to bottom and was removed.
Hence, the mediation of man and the Most Holy Place no longer exist in this world, since Jesus is the High Priest, and has opened the gates of heaven for us to go to the presence of God. (Hebrew 9th Chapter)
Observation: In that case, why do many churches maintain the priesthood and the Most Holy Place?

“You do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Master, the Christ, and you are all brothers.
Do not call anyone on earth Father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.
Do not be called Teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.”
But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. (From, Matthew 23:8, 9, 10)
Somebody asked me as to why these DON’TS are practiced in so many churches still,
even though it is said by Jesus himself - NOT TO.
I said, "I can’t say, may be they don’t like it.
They may like to call and to be called."
WHAT DO YOU SAY?

There is every need to reform the churches everywhere according to the Bible. Many churches have laid down some principles and practices of their own and have been teaching them to the people of God (the church) for years together. As we go on our study of different Christian organizations and denominations, it is evident that many of them are preaching and practicing differently to what is said in the Bible. The book of Bible is after all a record of the Christian churches and the way of their life and practice. So when we see the churches are not according to those standards, it is but natural to say that reformation is needed in different sectors:
Theological: Let every church check its theological doctrines that it follows, whether the doctrines are according to the bible or not. If they find lacking any theological truth, be dare enough to put forth them and discuss and do the needful changes. It is good if you can do that instead of wasting time simply discussing and arguing always. If unnecessary things are found practicing, better stop them for the good of the church.
Spiritual:The churches must be alive to the spiritual experiences of a Christian. Unless a Christian grows in spiritual experiences, he or she cannot stand to the trials. They may fall in danger of forfeiting the salvation which they got freely and they may not be able to regain it by their good works. It is not enough if you possess a good knowledge of your religion, but it is certain that everybody should have the experience of a defined Christian life and devotion to it. Without spirituality there is no use of practicing a religion. Religion is practicing rituals and principles of a sect whereas a Christian is one who is following Jesus Christ and his principles. It is no more observing some doctrines.
Social:The church should be able to stand as a representative of its master in this wicked world. The church is the church of God, which contains people who are sanctified by the blood of Jesus Christ and called to be Saints. It means the church is a group of people who are changed spiritually, morally and socially. The church is not away from the society but existing within the society, working and mingling and living with everybody and be a blessing to all, but not at the cost of the sanctity.
Moral: If Christians are the children of God, they should put up good morals better than the worldly people. Speaking truth, doing good to others, loving even those who are doing bad to them and helping the poor and needy. You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and praise your father in heaven.
Check: Is it not good for every church to check if any other influence has crept in as time pass by? Verifying the doctrines and practices of the church paves the way to bring the church into the knowledge of the truth. That helps to prepare for the coming of our Lord.
Shall we do that on priority? May God give us all a humble heart to obey to the call of the Holy Spirit!
